I love Level 42. A unique british funk-fusion band with a ton of great albums from the 80's to today. This cover is a tune called "A Floating Life" from the 1984 release TRUE COLOURS. It isn't a well known song by any means but it represents classic Level 42 at their very best. |

I got an email about 5 months ago from Ambrosia's former manager who, after seeing my "You're The Only Woman" video on You Tube, felt I was decent enough to ask me if I'd be interested in singing lead for the group for their upcoming new tour, if such an opportunity arose. Needless to say, I was ecstatic and said "Yes." Nothing has come of it but I am proud to have been considered for such an honor. This a merely an additional, quick audition in which I uncharacteristically use karaoke tracks to showcase my vocal. |

What can you say about this 70's masterpiece by prolific artist Janis Ian? I never thought I would try to cover this but a memory from 30 years ago hit me from out of the blue and I've been haunted by this emotional classic ever since. I stayed rather faithful to the original with the only change being the Shellotron on the choruses. Thank you, Janis. |
